Pauline Lindberg (1966) is a self-taught mixed media artist, working with acrylics, concrete, epoxy, metals, clay, and found objects. Born and raised in New York City, Pauline moved to Sweden in 1980 and has since lived and worked in Stockholm, Växjö, Gothenburg,Helsingborg, and now, Ängelholm.
Driven by a constant desire to experiment and work with different media, Pauline transitioned from her career as a producer and creative in the entertainment industry to a full-time abstract artist in 2017.
Influenced by her hometown, New York City, as well as personal experiences and current events, Pauline continues to intuitively explore themes and forms of expression through her art. Imperfection, feminine and masculine perspectives, asymmetry, and movement are common threads in her work which always aims to invite viewers on a journey with no defined end or rules for interpretation.
Pauline recently left city life to live and work in the woodlands of Hjärnarp, Ängelholm and welcomes visitors to her studio year-round. She’s currently exploring bringing more nature into her work and her sculptural work into nature.
